Dear Friend,  I am hosting an urgent telephone town hall on Monday, October 6th at 8:00 pm.  Right now, Republicans control the White House and both chambers of Congress, and instead of working to keep the government open, they have forced a shutdown that hurts families, servicemembers, small business owners, and federal employees.  This town hall will provide a platform to discuss how the shutdown is affecting you.
