News from Congresswoman Deborah Ross

Representative First Last

Dear Friend,

Since coming to Congress, my priority has always been to serve the people of Wake County and ensure everyone can access the resources they are owed from the federal government. That’s why I am thrilled to share a significant milestone — my office has returned over $20 million in federal benefits to Wake County residents!

$20 million returned to Wake County

One of the key responsibilities of my district office in Raleigh is to help Wake County residents secure backlogged Social Security checks, Veterans Affairs (VA) benefit claims, delayed Internal Revenue Service (IRS) refunds, Medicare benefits, and other federal resources. This work wouldn't be possible without the hard work of my wonderful team who helped deliver over $20 million back to seniors, veterans, small business owners, and other Wake County residents.

In total, my office closed 3,890 cases with different federal agencies and programs. My team works to ensure any constituent having issues with a federal agency, program, or benefit receives fair and equitable treatment. That includes help with passport renewals, immigration cases, and much more. Click here or read below for what some Wake County residents had to say about the service they received from my office:

My office is passionate about serving our local community, so if you or someone you know needs help with a federal agency, please do not ever hesitate to contact my office. You can click here to fill out a casework form or call my Raleigh office at (919) 334-0840.
