Governor Roy Cooper recently declared a State of Emergency in advance of Hurricane Ian's arrival. Parts of Wake County could experience heavy rainfall and flooding starting tomorrow. I wanted to share some resources before the storm.

There is currently no evacuation order for Wake County, but you can visit KnowYourZone.NC.gov for more information on any evacuation orders and instructions. Residents of Wake County are encouraged to plan ahead and discuss an emergency preparedness plan with their families before the storm hits. You can make an emergency communications plan here.
