Dear Friend, As we wrap up the year, I want to share an update on my work in Congress over the past 12 months on behalf of the people of Wake County. Unfortunately, this session has been marked by chaos and dysfunction in the House of Representatives. But despite this challenging political environment, I've been working across the aisle to seek bipartisan solutions to the problems that matter most to North Carolinians. I'm proud of everything my team has accomplished.  Click here or watch the video below for my 2023 Year in Review.

News from Congresswoman Deborah Ross

Representative First Last

Dear Friend,

As we wrap up the year, I want to share an update on my work in Congress over the past 12 months on behalf of the people of Wake County. Unfortunately, this session has been marked by chaos and dysfunction in the House of Representatives. But despite this challenging political environment, I've been working across the aisle to seek bipartisan solutions to the problems that matter most to North Carolinians. I'm proud of everything my team has accomplished.

Working for Wake County

Before the end of 2022, I secured over $26 million in federal funding for projects across Wake County. This past year, I've had the chance to visit these projects and see the positive difference they are already making in the lives of so many people. From the senior center in Garner to the revitalized Carver School in Wendell, these community-driven investments reach people and places across Wake County. I will always fight for federal investments like these projects so our community continues to be a great place to live and work.

$20 million in federal benefits returned

This year, my office continued to provide excellent constituent services. A few months ago, I was excited to announce that we marked an exciting milestone -- over $20 million in federal benefits returned back to Wake County residents since I was sworn into office in 2021. My dedicated team is committed to doing everything they can to help the people of Wake County access resources and benefits from the federal government. Whether you need help claiming your veterans benefits or requesting a delayed payment from the IRS, my office is always here to help!

Fighting for North Carolina priorities

During my first term in Congress, 11 bills I authored were signed into law. I am building on that strong record of accomplishment this term and championing causes that are important to the people of Wake County. From fighting for North Carolina’s clean energy economy to advancing equality and justice for all, I remain committed to prioritizing commonsense solutions that benefit the people of our community. I will also keep pushing for affordable housing and health care, and I won’t stop fighting to protect Social Security and Medicare.
