Dear Friend,  I am hosting an urgent telephone town hall on Wednesday, May 21st at 8:00 pm.  Right now, Republicans are pushing proposals that would weaken Social Security, raise the retirement age, and put future benefits at risk. For this town hall, I'll be joined by Rep. John Larson, Ranking Member on the Social Security Subcommittee on the House Ways and Means Committee, who is leading the charge to protect seniors' hard-earned benefits. This town hall will provide a platform to discuss how Congress can protect Social Security and respond to threats against it. It will also provide an opportunity for you to raise other issues or concerns that are front of mind for you and your family at this difficult moment-- whether that's Republicans' policy plans that could gut Medicaid or rising costs from chaotic tariff policies.
