Today we mark the anniversary of the Dobbs decision – a painful reminder that access to safe, legal abortion is no longer guaranteed. One year ago, the Supreme Court upended decades of legal precedent and turned back the clock on women's reproductive freedom. Since then, we've seen state legislatures in North Carolina and nationwide pass dangerous abortion bans.

I'm doing everything in my power to defend reproductive freedom. Just this week, I signed a petition to bring the Women's Health Protection Act immediately to the House floor for a vote. Here’s the bottom line: politicians have no business interfering in your health care decisions. Please know that I will always fight for reproductive care in Congress and will not give up until we get our freedoms back.
