Dear Friend, This weekend marks one year since Hurricane Helene devastated communities across Western North Carolina. In that time, I have met with families, small business owners, and local leaders who are still working to rebuild. The message I heard again and again was clear: they need more federal support, and they need it faster. I have fought every step of the way to secure that support. I voted for the initial relief package last year. I traveled to Western North Carolina in August to see the recovery firsthand, led efforts to force the Trump administration to release already-approved relief funds, and called on Congress to replenish the Disaster Relief Fund and pass Governor Stein’s request for additional recovery funding. Western North Carolina cannot be left behind. I will keep pushing until the federal government delivers the resources needed to rebuild schools, roads, bridges, and businesses so that these communities can thrive again. Last week, I spoke on the House floor to commemorate this anniversary. You can watch the video below.

News from Congresswoman Deborah Ross

Representative First Last

Dear Friend,

This weekend marks one year since Hurricane Helene devastated communities across Western North Carolina.
