Dear Friend, This week, North Carolinians watched in horror as federal immigration agents descended on our state – terrorizing our communities and abducting people off the streets based on the color of their skin. I have heard directly from dozens of people in Wake County, who have watched masked, unidentified agents appear in everyday spaces to intimidate local residents, including small businesses, churches, community centers, and more. We all want safe communities, but CBP is operating without regard for the law or the constitution. Since coming to Congress, I have been fighting to pass comprehensive immigration reform. If Donald Trump and Republicans really cared about fixing our broken immigration system, they would work across the aisle to ensure our border is secure, families can stay together, and our farms and businesses can get the workers they need. Instead, they refuse to take even the smallest steps in the direction of compromise or real solutions.

News from Congresswoman Deborah Ross

Representative First Last

Dear Friend,

This week, North Carolinians watched in horror as federal immigration agents descended on our state – terrorizing our communities and abducting people off the streets based on the color of their skin.

I will continue to speak out and push back. Our communities deserve safety, not intimidation, and I will fight these actions every step of the way.

If you or someone you know needs help with CPB or ICE, please contact my office. You can also review our Know Your Rights resource page here.

I raised these concerns during an interview with Spectrum News. The clip is available below.
